Ridley Scott on the set of, 'Blade Runner'

Ridley Scott (Alien), a master filmmaker in his own right, who has helped revolutionize the world of cinema by providing strong female heroins in a non-horror role in films and franchises, such as Ellen Ripley (Played by: Sigourney Weaver) in the ‘Alien’ franchise, Jordan O’Neill (Played by: Demi Moore) in G.I. Jane (1997) and even Clarice Starling (Played by: Julianne Moore) in, Hannibal (2001), is about to head back in to the realm of Science Fiction (A genre that helped make him famous)!

Now we all know about Prometheus, a movie, that is set to be released on June 8th. But another classic Science Fiction movie that Mr. Scott is about to dive in to is the epic, Blade Runner!

This is was what Mr. Scott told the Daily Beast about the upcoming project so far, “Funny enough, I started my first meetings on the Blade Runner sequel last week. We have a very good take on it. And we’ll definitely be featuring a female protagonist.”
