The Box Office Report: This Movie Has Won The Trifecta!

The Hunger Games Has Won The Trifecta and has made it to number #1 in the box office for a third week in a row!

You heard it folks, The Hunger Games, a movie which stars: Jennifer Lawrence (Winter’s Bone), and Liam Helmsworth (Knowing) and which tells the story of a future in which the various districts send young men and women to die in a televised battle between life and death!

The Hunger Games, which has made it to number #1 over the last few weeks, and having pulled in a solid $33,5 million in this weekends box office, we are proud to announce that, The Hunger Games has won the trifecta, having won the number #1 in this weekend’s box office for a third week in a row!

For the second place, we got the release of the sure fire classic reunion movie in the movie, American Reunion! Now with the stiff competition for the number #1 spot this week, American Reunion did extremely well, having pulled out $21.5 million in this weekend’s box office!

In the number 3 spot we have the re-release of the epic 90s drama, Titanic 3D! Now in its opening weekend, Titanic 3D did pretty respectably in the box office having pulled in a solid $17.4 million from this weekend’s box office! At the number 4 spot we have the movie, Wrath Of The Titans! Wrath Of The Titans did pretty nicely, having pulled in a respectable $15 million in this weekend’s box office!  And at number 5 we got, Mirror Mirror, which pulled in $11 million in this weekend’s box office!

In summation:

1. The Hunger Games = $33.5 Million

2. American Reunion = $21.5 Million

3. Titanic 3D = $17.4 Million

4. Wrath of the Titans = $15 Million

5. Mirror Mirror = $11 Million
