The Weekend Box Office Report: This Weekend’s Number #1 Was The Third Highest Ever!

With out any real surprise we are glad to announce that, The Hunger Games, starring: Jennifer Lawrence (Devil You Know) after pulling in $155 million dollars for it’s opening weekend, and having been the third highest weekend opener ever, has made it to the number #1 spot in this weekend’s box office!

With having pulled in $21.3 million dollars, 21 Jump Street has continued to do very nicely in the box office and pulled in second place!

At number 3 we got Dr. Suess’ The Lorax. Now this movie has continued do pretty solidly with having pulled in $13.1 million in the box office this weekend! At number 4 we got the scifi epic, John Carter, which pulled in a respectable $5 million from the box office over the weekend, and at number 5 we got, Act Of Valor, which pulled in $2.1 million from the box office this weekend.

In summation:

1. The Hunger Games = $155 Million

2. 21 Jump Street = $21.3 Million

3. Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax = $13.1 Million

4. John Carter = $5 Million

5. Act of Valor = $2.1 Million
