Weekend Box Office Report: This Weekends Winner Is The Hero Of The Gods!

Immortals: This highly anticipated movie which was written by: Charley Parlapanides (Live Bet) and Vlas Parlapanides (Everything For A Reason), and Directed by: Tarsem Singh (The Fall), and which stars: Henry Cavil (Man Of Steel), Frieda Pinto (Black Gold) and Stephen Dorff (Cecil B. Demented).  This movie tells the story of how a peasant by the name of Theseus (Cavil) is chosen to save mankind and the ancient Greek gods from King Hyperion (Rourke) and his hordes which are trying to raise the ancient Titans!

Well for you fans of the movie so far, we have some great news!

According to EW:

With Immortals having pulled in $32 million in the box office over the weekend… Immortals has made it to the top of the heap this weekend and is the winner in this weekends box office, having made it to number #1!

At number #2: we got another weekend opener in the movie starring Adam Sandler (Cubed) in both leads… Jack And Jill! Having pulled in a solid $26 million in this weekend’s box office, gives Jack And Jill the number #2 spot for their opening weekend!

At number 3 we got a returning champion in the swashbuckling feline, Puss In Boots. Now This movie has continued to do very nicely in the weekend box office, having pulled in a descent $25.5 million dollars! Having pulled in a respectable $13.2 million in this weekend’s box office, we got in the number #4 spot, Tower Heist!  At number #5 we got another weekend opener in the movie, J. Edgar! Now amid stiff competition, this movie which stars Leonardo Di Caprio (Inception) managed to pull in a respectable $11.5 million in this weekend’s box office!

Well folks, it looks like in movie land this weekend that the King Of Movie Land is the Hero of the Gods!

1. Immortals = $32 Million

2. Jack and Jill = $26 Million

3. Puss in Boots = $25.5 Million

4. Tower Heist = $13.2 Million

5. J. Edgar = $11.5 Million
