Denise Crosby (Rachel Creed) Brad Greenquist (Victor Pascow) in Pet Sematary.

That’s right folks, according Horror-Movie.ca:

It has been proposed for years that the book that Stephen King originally wrote and was later turned in to a movie with Dale Midkiff, Fred Gwynne and Denise Crosby, ‘Pet Sematary’ be remade in to an updated version of the story.  With that said, it has recently been opened up to some new spot light when the LA Times reported that the screen writer who wrote the script for 1408, Matthew Greenberg is currently working on his own spin on the tale.

According to the  LA Times, executives at Paramount Studio have put the word out to a couple of agents that they are seeking a high-level director to helm the project!
