Dear Santa, I should be on the good list this year. How about an Apple TV for me? -Matt

5. Apple TV

Basically this little baby will allow you to stream internet content directly to you your TV plus pay for your new shows at .99 an episode. This gives you more control and should be much cheaper than your cable bill (you won’t need cable anymore!). Here’s the thing, it only has a few applications so far, Netflix (stream Blue-Ray), YouTube, Flickr, etc. But you can play your iTunes library through your TV AND make good use of that surround sound and play slide shows too. Obviously it’s Apple, so my prediction is there will be much more coming. The two immediate plus points I can see, first, if you feel like the cable companies have been extorting money from you (hi there Time Warner), what better way to send them their walking papers? Second and not surprisingly, when I was at the Apple store, it was packed, everyone was there for their iPhone 4, iPad, iPod and iMac (which I am using to write you this very second). However, the surprising part is, nobody was checking out the Apple TV, even when I got the demo, nobody else came over! This should be the hot ticket item this Holiday Season? I know it will be next year, and will be sold out then, so get it now! Priced to own at $99. go to Apple.com

6. Yoostar

Let’s face it. If you’re any kind of true movie buff, then you probably have ruined many a moment by inappropriately launching into dialogue from your favorite movie. Hey, it’s not you’re fault. You just haven’t been giving your inner thespian the attention he truly deserves.

Yoostar let’s you put yourself right into hundreds of famous movie scenes acting right alongside the best! It’s karaoke for actors! And that is why Yoostar is the perfect low budget gift for the movie lover in your life. It comes with everything you need – including camera, software and a green screen to begin acting out your favorite movie scenes. And you can easily share these clips online for friends and family to see. All this fun for just $99! Go to  Yoostar.com

7. Yoda Backpack

You don’t need to travel to a galaxy far far away to become the little green guy’s Padawan learner. And the other young Jedi will be jealous when they realize wise old Yoda is riding on your back. This fun and clever Star Wars backpack features a near life-size plush Yoda and features adjustable straps. Pick it up at 80stees.com for $40 (sorry, no Imperial Credits will be accepted.)

For under $100 this nifty piece of gear comes with a remote control robot camera, a remote with video screen and speakers so you can see what the robot sees in real-time.
