We grew up watching actor Jeff Conaway as the struggling New York actor and cab driver Bobby Wheeler on TV’s ‘Taxi’ (1978-1982). His charming misadventures were hilarious as he was the constant butt of his boss Louie De Palma’s (Danny Devito) jokes. Taxi would end up becoming a show known for taking a group of misfits and outcasts from society’s under belly, and bringing them together as friends who would support each other through life’s many hurdle’s.
