So I wasn’t alive when John Belushi (Neighbors) was making movies…  A shame! His last movie came out in 1981 and he died the year I was born…  Not thrilled about that…

You might be wondering why I mention this… Well before i go in this part of it, let me explain to those who are just tuning in, and finding out who the awesome filmmaker was! Anyway, John Belushi, was a great comedian and actor who started out in the mid 70s, with, Shame Of The Jungle (1975) and being a member of the original cast of the, ‘Not Quite Ready For Prime Time Players’ on Saturday Night Live!

Although he was a force of nature on Saturday Night Live, it is my opinion that his career really did not start until after he left the show and started a career in films!

John Belushi, with: Garrett Morris (The Stuff), Jane Curtin (Coneheads), Bill Murray (Ghostbusters), Larraine Newman (Up), Dan Akyroyd (The Blues Brothers) & Gilda Radner (Haunted Honeymoon). All apart of the first cast of the, 'Not Quite Ready For Prime Time Players' from Saturday Night Live.

Once he got in to films, he really started to make a name for himself, doing such movies as: Animal House (1975), 1941 (1979) & The Blues Brothers (1980)!

Unfortunately though, John Belushi ended up, ending his life with a drug overdose right when his career was really starting to take off! But still, over 20 years after he did, John Belushi is a great talent, and he will be missed!

For more information on who he was, please check out these trailers for some of his better movies!
