IMG_4021Ok, so if you haven’t seen it yet, I highly recommend watching the popular fox TV series, ‘Gotham’ with Ben McKenzie (88 Minutes)! It is a fantastic show that tells the story of how Bruce Wayne got set on his path toward becoming the Dark Knight! You know what? It is alot of fun!

And speaking of: Ben McKenzie and Batman, there is another Batman vehicle that Mr. McKenzie is apart of that was a ton of fun to, that I think you guys are really gonna like called: Batman: Year One (2011)!

Writtenb by: Tab Murphy (Tarzan) & Directed by: Sam Liu (Justice League: Crisis On Two Earths) & Lauren Montgomery (Justice League: Doom). Starring: Ben McKenzie, Bryan Cranston (Argo), Eliza Dusku (Wrong Turn), Jon Polito (Barton Fink), Alex Rocco (The Godfather) & Katee Sackoff (Battlestar Galacitica: Razor)

“Gotham City. Clean shafts of concrete and snowy rooftops. The work of men who died generations ago. From here, it looks like an achievement. From here, you can’t see the enemy.” – A quote from, Batman: Year One (2011)!

This fun movie tells the story of not how Bruce Wayne got started on his path toward becoming the Batman, but the first year when he actually became the Batman… But not just the first year of the Dark Knight (McKenzie), but the first year leading up to when a young Lieutenant James Gordon (Cranston) goes from being a green Lieutenant in a new city… To working with the Batman!

Lieutenant James Gordin before he became the famous, 'Commissioner James Gordon'!

Lieutenant James Gordin before he became the famous, ‘Commissioner James Gordon’!

Now honestly this movie is fun… It has a ton of the elements that would eventually make the Batman who he is, including: Catwoman, and mention of eventually: ‘Joker’… But they shot for a noir style in this movie… And Batman just is not a noir character! Nor is he a noir movie…

But check it out… It is well worth it… I thought so, and you might as well!
