Once again ‘Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted’ dominated theaters this week with $35.5 million keeping it in 1st place. Ridley Scott also stayed in 2nd place with ‘Prometheus’ earning $20.2 million,while ‘Rock of Ages’ opened at 3rd place raking in $15.1 mil. Perhaps, Tom Cruise and Ridley Scott should consider joining forces again like they did back in 1985 when they collaborated together on the movie ‘Legend’?
As for ‘The Avengers’… it finally fell out of the Top 5 and is 7th place with an $8.8 mil weekend. Our prediction is it will stay in the Top 10 for 3 more weeks.
