Director And Cast Will Return for ‘The Hangover 3′

by  |  June 8th, 2012  |  News

Brothers in Arms: Bradley Cooper, Zach Galifianakis, Ed Helms and Todd Phillips at the premiere for 'The Hangover 2'.

It’s been announced that ‘The Hangover 3′ is all systems ago! After acclaimed comedy director Alan Smithee turned down the next chapter in the series, Todd Phillips, the director of the original 2, has decided to come back once more to complete the final chapter in his trilogy. Perhaps taking his que from fellow director Christopher Nolan and what he’s doing with his own Dark Knight trilogy.

Phillips will be reuniting with his ensamble of players including Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms Zach Galifianakis and Mike Tyson. Unknown how our party animals will have their memories erased this time, but we expect there to be plenty of “fratitude” and hi-jinx.

The Hangover franchise has become a runaway comedy train over the past few years, which is due in large to the perfect marriage of director and actors. And that kind of chemistry is hard to come by.

The Hangover 3 will have the guys returning to Las Vegas, and is being said to be the final chapter.

Director Todd Phillips will be sharing his filmmaking insight and wisdom at the 2012 Produced By Conference.

As for Todd Phillips, he is making himself available as a Roundtable Mentor, at the June 2012 Produced By Conference. The conference, produced by Sony Studios, has become the leading industry convention offering many helpful tips and insight as well as networking opportunities within the Motion Picture Industry, from working professionals.

Christopher Nolan will also be in attendance, kicking off the event with his own insights on the decision making process required for making a film in todays industry.
