Son of Monsterpalooza
Coming October 26, 27 and 28, just in time for Halloween 2012!!!
Horror and monster fans will now have a 2nd chance to meet their favorite filmmakers, actors and Special F/X legends in 2012!
Eliot Brodsky’s annual Monsterpalooza convention which was held back in April, has quickly “carved” a name for itself as one of thee premier conventions to attend. In fact you might even say they “murder” the competition. Bada-Bing!
If you attended the last Monsterpalooza, you probably had to wait in a line the wrapped so far around the Burbank Marriott convention hall, that it literally connected right back to the front of the line. Which not only means that you waited in line for an hour and a half, but it also means that word of this once underground convention has gotten out.

Monster movie fans: Director John Landis (who literally wrote the book on horror) and AwesomeBMovies.com CEO Matthew Dowling at Monsterpalooza 2012.
And it makes sense, if you wanted to meet up with director John Landis (Animal House) and grab a signed copy of his awesome new book ‘Monsters in the Movies’ (a must have for any true horror fan), or meet classic horror movie stars like Julie Adams (Creature from the Black Lagoon).
Landis also reunited with his ‘American Werewolf in London’ star, David Naughton for a Q&A and signing. Other Q&A’s included William Ragsdale, Amanda Bearse, Stephen Geoffreys, Jonathan Stark and Chris Sarandon reuniting with ‘Fright Night’ director Tom Holland for signings and lively panel discussions!

Legendary artist, puppeteer and author Caroll Spinney, who played 'Big Bird' & 'Oscar The Grouch' for 40 years on 'Sesame Street', created quite a stir @ Monsterpalooza 2012 with his original artwork. Photo: Caroll Spinney, ABM's Candace Valentino with her son Holden.
Another big draw is the vendors room, featuring everything from some extremely rare cult movies on DVD/Blu-ray, vintage posters all the way to movie props and Special F/X make-up kits.
Regardless, any successful Hollywood production is going to get its sequel.
No word on what guests will be attending ‘Son of Monsterpalooza’ on the weekend of October 26-28 2012, but you’ll probably want to clear your plans that weekend and arrive an hour early. Stayed tuned…
