John Carpenter and Kurt Russell on the set of, 'Big Trouble In Little China'

That’s right folks, with legendary master of horror, John Carpenter (Halloween), having celebrated his birthday yesterday, the IFC Center  (A theater in the heart of New York, that celebrates some of the best in indie films), has decided to celebrate Mr. Carpenter in the best way a theater can… By putting up on the big screen for all to see, some of Mr. Carpenter’s truly classic films, as part of their ‘Waverly Midnight’s’ selection of movies from January 20th – April 7th!

The movies that they will be playing are as follows:

1. The Thing (1982)

2. Village Of The Damned (1995)

3. Christine (1983)

4. They Live (1988)

5. Big Trouble In Little China (1986)

6. Escape From LA (1996)

7. Starman (1984)

8. Vampires (1998)

9. Prince Of Darkness (1987)

10. Assault On Precinct 13 (1976)

From all of us here at ABM, we would like to wish Mr. Carpenter a belated happy birthday, and to all of the fans out there in the New York Area, if your interested in checking this out, click here:
