Wolfgang Peterson has become attached to the big screen adaption of the Sci Fi novel Old Man’s War.
Having been released in 2005, the novel tells the story of the futuristic, The Colonial Defense Forces. An intergalactic military from Earth, the CDF soldiers are placed in updated versions of their own bodies and have their DNA enhanced by nano tech. At the ripe old age of 75, retired writer John Perry and is given the gift of youth at the cost of having to serve in the Military.
